Smoking embroidery needle

Even now it has been a while since I posted an update. Sometimes I just don’t think about posting anything. While there is plenty to tell. For example, I am now 38 weeks pregnant and I am burning with curiosity about what the new baby will look like. For the sake of convenience, I overlook the fact that I have to give birth ‘first’. I have also already been on leave for 4 weeks. The first week I ran from hot to her. Not convenient. I had a lot of trouble with that the second week. And I only started taking it easy from the third week. Reading books, watching movies, tea time with friends and family, sleeping well and embroidering and embroidering all evenings and embroidering again. Until the needle looks red hot. The result is there (even if I say so myself ;-)). In just over a month I embroidered 3 blocks of my birdhouse SAL. One block is more work than the other block, but in general it is all fun to do. Even those ^% $ * & flowers that come back almost every block. I am now eagerly waiting for the next blocks. I immediately ordered only two. Then I can vary it a bit. This is the result so far:

There is now a block finished, but I can’t get it right to take the picture.

Hopefully I can continue to keep on steaming for a while. It is a lot of fun to be able to round off again and again.
